Well, I'm not sure where to start on this one. I honestly support the Lammily project. I think Lammily is gorgeous, and she looks like me. Same height slightly smaller feet, bigger bust, similar hips. I find comfort in the fact that one day, my child could be playing with a doll that looks and feels like her. Plus, the doll collector in me is saying that this is a good quality doll. I'm not currently sure if she will have removable or molded clothes. I'm also not sure if Lammily will have rooted or molded hair. From the pictures, it looks like the latter, both times. But, it wouldn't matter because she is a FULLY ARTICULATED DOLL. Plus, with her ten inch body height, she will be easy to find and make miniature accessories for.
This doll has a great message too. Average is beautiful not because the average women is airbrushed and perfectly tanned. Average women are the women who inspire us, and change the world. Rosa Parks, Demi Lovato, my mother. Average is Beautiful.
